Overview
TCEC provides a long list of support to the education community to support students, faculty, and the community.
For more information about our education programs, please contact Leslie Kraich via email or call 580-652-2418, ext. 128.
GiFTS Request
TCEC has established a new program called GiFTS (Giving Funds to Schools) to support local schools. GiFTS replaces the single donation TCEC gave to area schools the past few years.
Energy Camp -
8th Grade
All eighth grade students within TCEC’s service territory are eligible to enter to win a four-day trip to Canyon Camp outside of Hinton, Oklahoma. At this leadership development camp, students learn about rural electrification while also having fun swimming, hiking, riding go-carts and making new friends.
Youth Trips -
High School Juniors
Three students will be selected to receive the Gold Award, which is the Washington, D.C. Youth Tour. Two additional students will be selected for the Silver Award, which is the Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp in Steamboat Springs, CO.
Scholarships
TCEC members and their children may be eligible for the below scholarships. Applications are available from OPSU's Panhandle State Foundation and Golden Spread Electric Cooperative as outlined below.
Poster Contest -
3rd - 6th Grade
Because May is National Electrical Safety Month, we sponsor a contest each year. One entrant in each of the four categories will win a first place $25 gift card. One entrant in each of the four categories will win a second place $10 gift card.

Questions?
TCEC believes strongly in the power of community and the cornerstones of our communities are our schools and children.
We have committed to support education and area youth in a variety of ways. Our partnership with educators in strengthening
the power of community is vital to our mission. Thank you for allowing us to join you as we follow our youth’s journey
to responsible adult citizens who give back to the community.
