Join PTCI and TCEC, your community cooperatives, for the Pumpkins at the Park cooperative celebration on Monday, Oct. 2, from 5-6:30 p.m. on the east side of Sunset Lake at Thompson Park in Guymon.
This free event features pumpkins and train rides for children and free hot dogs, cookies, and water for everyone. Come out and help us celebrate National Cooperative Month!
The TCEC Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly to review Operation Round Up program applications and disburse funds. Applications are due June 30 for consideration at the next meeting on July 12. If you know of a need, encourage the charitable organization to apply at www.tcec.coop/oru.
Co-ops Care Sponsor Guymon Outback Event
TCEC and PTCI are again coming together under the cooperative principles of Concern for Community and Cooperation Among Cooperatives. They donated $500 to the Main Street Guymon Outback event on May 12. This is the fifth year the cooperatives have worked together to support the Five State Motorcycle Run. The Run covers 300 miles throughout Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.

The Community Involvement Committee (CIC) of Golden Spread Electric Cooperative, Inc. and TCEC are giving back to local communities with a donation of $7,200 to 16 volunteer fire departments, including the Baker Fire Department.
March is Women’s History Month. It’s also National Reading Month. So, what better time to check in with a woman who is making history as a literary advocate, Dolly Parton.
TCEC is thrilled to announce three local high school juniors have been selected for a unique educational experience in our nation's capital! From June 16-22, these ambitious students will explore Washington, D.C., during the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour, visiting iconic monuments and landmarks that tell the story of America’s history. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is sure to be an inspirational journey filled with new sights, ideas and possibilities.

OPSU Scholarships
For new freshmen and returning sophomores to Oklahoma Panhandle State University, the cooperative funds eight scholarships valued at $2,000 each.
The Panhandle State Foundation administers the scholarships with APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE from DEC. 1, 2022, TO FEB. 15, 2023.
