TCEC’s Kyle Weber recognized for linework in Guatemala
“Through your dedicated service, you have ensured the continuation of America’s unparalleled commitment to improving the lives of others,” reads a White House letter received by Kyle Weber, a lineworker from TCEC and 2019 Energy Trails volunteer.
Weber was part of a team of lineworkers from Oklahoma’s and Colorado’s electric cooperatives recognized for providing first-time electricity to the isolated, mountainous village of Sillab in north-central Guatemala.
Through their selfless work, Sillab received power for the first time in the fall of 2019. TCEC is proud of Weber for his strong commitment to empower lives both at home and abroad.
