Please make your voice heard if you’re one of the TCEC members contacted for the member survey the week of May 11. With only a few minutes of your time, your input will make a difference in the future of your cooperative.
If you are called by the survey company, the caller ID will say Opinion Counts and be from area code 336. If you have an email on file and are selected for the survey, the email will have TCEC's name and logo in it. We understand many people are wary of phone calls and emails from unknown people, that's why we're letting you know our survey will be conducted this week and we remind you that TCEC does not call members and ask for personal or financial information.
Every two years, TCEC works with an independent third party to survey members via phone and email. This wide-ranging survey rates how satisfied members are about our services. Satisfaction is measured by the respected American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Results are compared not only with other electric cooperatives but also with ACSI data from other utilities. Feedback collected from the survey is also referenced in strategic planning sessions and everyday decisions.
