TCEC received national recognition from Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives for earning Service Excellence Four-Star Cooperative status. TCEC is one of only a few dozen electric co-ops across the nation that has earned this prestigious Four-Star Cooperative recognition by completing four employee engagement courses in the Touchstone Energy Service Excellence Program.
“The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives network supports more than 700 electric cooperatives, so we are pleased to have achieved this high honor. This accomplishment demonstrates TCEC's commitment to service and ongoing employee education, and our members will reap the rewards of this effort,” remarked Zac Perkins, TCEC CEO.
Touchstone Energy has recognized TCEC’s desire and dedication to effectively serve its membership and become one of the best in the industry in a variety of ways. The Touchstone Energy Service Excellence Program is an on-site workshop series that empowers employees to become ambassadors of TCEC and electric cooperatives in general. During these workshops, co-op employees master advanced communication skills, adopt a “can-do” attitude and learn how to better assist members by proactively anticipating their needs.
