Depending on the need, contributions may take several different formats. Depending on your organization's project and needs, you may apply to one or all programs. Applications made under this category are considered for funding internally at TCEC. The cooperative budgets a set amount annually for donations and sponsorships as part of its community involvement efforts. Typically, funding does not exceed $1,000 per project or application.

Applications made under this category are considered for funding internally at TCEC. Applications made to GiFTS should be for schools or programs directly supporting schools. The cooperative budgets a set amount annually for every school system in its service area. Available funds are based on student enrollment. Consideration is given on a first-come basis until all allocated funds are used. Applications are open from January 1 to October 1 every year. Typically, funding does not exceed $1,000 per project or application.

Applications for Operation Round Up are considered for funding by the independent board of directors for the TCEC Foundation. Funding for this program is collected directly from TCEC members who choose to round up their electric bills and is kept entirely separate from the cooperative. The mission of the program is to support community-based organizations for charitable, educational or emergency services purposes. Organizations can apply for funding multiple times in one year. Typically, funding does not exceed $5,000 per organization per year.
