Back on the Rack opened under the name Merry Go Round March 2, 2013, in a 12 by 12-foot room. The business has grown into the current 12,000-square-foot store front on 120 N.W. 10th Street in Guymon. Back on the Rack sells and consigns high-end and gently used name-brand clothing and accessories for the entire family from newborn through plus size as well as maternity. Other items sold and consigned consist of kid gear (swings, car seats, bouncers, strollers, etc.) and children’s furniture and toys.
Melissa Burns, owner, started the business to resell her children’s high-end, name-brand clothes they had outgrown. Soon her friends asked her if she would sell their kids’ clothes. When adults asked to bring their clothes in, Melissa decided to rebrand the business as Back on the Rack. Clothes are shipped in from all over the United States.
